First Moon refers to a person's first period - their menarche.

A First Moon Circle® is group education and celebration of this very important and powerful rite of passage. It celebrates and empowers children through their first period, by offering playful education sessions, sharing what they may expect to experience, and how they may care for themselves, physically, emotionally and spiritually, as they grow, evolve and mature into adolescence.

First Moon Circles® are a beautiful, empowering alternative to traditional period education, featuring craft, conversations and a special parent-child celebration. It is a sacred, love filled, and most importantly FUN space for children to gather in circle to receive knowledge and tools to start their first periods with ease, flow, and comfort.
